Ebola virus disease formerly known as Ebola haemorrhagic fever it comes closer... The new reports from ministry of India reveals,some suspected people are under observation at kochi who came from African countries.Even now, many of the people are not  clearly understand the impact of Ebola virus.the media hypes several unwanted ?(not for all,some people need it) news and broadcasting it.Some time feels Indian media,especially Kerala media trying to neglect certain important news.whatever the media activity towards Ebola,we the people need to understand what it is? and how to transform?..and what are the precautions we need to take?.because it is near to us..............

       The key facts about Ebola

• Ebola virus is serious diseases even it is  fatal unless treated.
• Ebola which  first appeared in 1976  as in two outbreaks, one in Nzara, Sudan, and the other in Yambuku, Democratic Republic of Congo. the outbreak occurred  near the Ebola River, from which the disease takes its name.
• The virus family Filoviridae includes 3 genera: Cuevavirus, Marburgvirus, and Ebolavirus.There are 5 species that have been identified: Zaire, Bundibugyo, Sudan, Reston and Taï Forest.The virus causing the 2014 west African outbreak belongs to the Zaire species.

          The transmission.

• fruit bats are the natural virus hosts(Pteropodidae family)
• the virus introduced into the human body through direct contact of body fluids of infected animals such as chimpanzee,monkeys,fruit bat etc.
• human to human transmission occurs only through direct contact of body fluids of infected persons.

         The symptoms

•  fever fatigue, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. This is followed by vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, symptoms of impaired kidney and liver function, and in some cases, both internal and external bleeding.

         Treatments

• Even now no proven medicines are available for ebola !!!!
• However, a range of potential treatments including blood products, immune therapies and drug therapies are currently using for ebola treatment.

inorder to prevent ebola we need to take care.each and every one need to care themeselves.then only we can prevent the outbreaks of ebola in india...as we know  an outbursting of a disease is very easy in india because of large mass and density...so need to care..it is near to us.....
